Natural Child are from Nashville, and you can definitely hear that in their hometown people still dig what made the city’s music famous worldwide. New album Dancin’ With The Wolves sees them moving from a gritty southern rock towards a gentler country blues, inspired by Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings 70’s material.

Saturday Night Blues is the classic story of being bored, getting FOMO and not knowing what to do with the night that’s meant to be the peak of the week. If, when Natural Child were a power trio they could have been compared to straight whiskey, now thanks to the bar-room piano and pedal steel they’ve got ice cubes and a cigarette to go with it.
